Usage Rules
1. General provisions
For the purposes of these Terms, the Seller shall be understood as SIA TWRIGA, Reg. No. 40103392487, address: Brīvības gatve 214B, Riga; whereas the Buyer shall be understood as a natural person/legal entity who purchases goods and/or services available in the online store www.twriga.lv, www.tupperware-riga.lv.
If the Buyer purchases products offered on www.twriga.lv via the Internet, such mutual agreement shall be considered a distance contract and shall be subject to the legal regulations of the Republic of Latvia governing distance contracts, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations “Regulations on Distance Contracts”.
If a customer who has ordered and purchased goods on www.twriga.lv lacks legal capacity and/or capacity to act, the legal representative of such person (e.g. parents, guardians) shall be responsible for ordering and payment of the product. In this case, the order is non-refundable and the purchase price paid is not refundable.
A distance contract for the purchase of Goods shall be deemed concluded at the moment of payment for the goods.
By performing any actions on twriga.lv, the Buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy, understand them and agree to comply with them without limitations or conditions, and to always act in good faith and in accordance with the law.
The Seller reserves the right to amend the Terms of Use without prior notice.
2. Personal data protection
The Seller protects the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons, in particular the inviolability of private life, with regard to the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (27 April 2016) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
Detailed purposes of processing Buyers’ personal data and other issues related to the collection and processing of personal data are described in these Terms of Use and in the Privacy Policy available on www.twriga.lv.
Buyers are fully responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. The Buyer is responsible for the security of their data and undertakes not to disclose them to third parties. If the Buyer has provided inaccurate or incorrect data when making a purchase, or if the data are used by a third party, the Seller shall not be liable for the consequences and shall be entitled to claim compensation for direct losses from the Buyer.
3. Intellectual property
All information and content available on www.twriga.lv, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, service marks, text, graphics, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations and software, their compilation and arrangement (collectively referred to as the Content), are the property of the Seller or its cooperation partners and are protected by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and other international laws relating to the protection of intellectual property, including copyright and trademark laws. Any use of trademarks owned by us without explicit written permission, regardless of purpose, is prohibited.
4. Goods
The Seller takes care that the descriptions, images and other information of the available Goods are as complete and accurate as possible. The Seller cannot guarantee that changes related to the Goods (description, colors, codes, etc.) will be immediately and fully updated.
The Goods sold on twriga.lv are not food products and are not intended for consumption.
5. Prices of goods
All Goods prices include VAT or other applicable sales taxes. Depending on the delivery address, an additional shipping fee may apply and will be clearly indicated before payment confirmation and included in the total order price.
The final price of the Goods, including taxes and duties, as well as delivery or postal costs, will be indicated before the conclusion of the distance contract.
The Seller reserves the right to change the price of the Goods or set a special price. Goods are sold to the Buyer at the prices valid at the time of placing the order.
If an order is received where the indicated price differs from the price stated on www.twriga.lv at that time, the Seller will contact the Buyer and offer the option to cancel the order. If the Seller is unable to promptly contact the Buyer, the order will be considered cancelled and all payments made will be refunded.
6. Delivery of goods
Delivery in Latvia
- Omniva parcel locker – 3.10 EUR
- Venipak/Omniva courier – 8.00 EUR
Orders can be received only after an SMS notification that the shipment is ready.*
Delivery time depending on the selected method may take 1–3 business days, in some cases up to 4 business days.*
*Delivery time may vary depending on availability in the warehouse. If the Goods are not in stock, delivery time may be extended up to 10 business days.
The delivery address must be as detailed as possible, including any additional information (e.g. door code). Incorrect or incomplete address details may result in extended delivery time.
The Buyer is responsible for providing a correct phone number.
At the time of delivery, the courier has the right to request an identity document (passport, ID card or driving licence) to verify the recipient’s identity and record the last 5 digits of the document number.
7. Right of withdrawal. Exchange and return of goods
The Buyer has the right of withdrawal in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 “Regulations on Distance Contracts”.
The Buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal and unilaterally withdraw from the contract (purchase of Goods on twriga.lv) within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the Goods. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the delivered Goods cannot be returned due to their nature, if the packaging has been opened for hygiene or health reasons, or if the Seller has detected damage or signs of use.
The Goods may be returned in one of the following ways:
- in person at the Tupperware office-warehouse, Brīvības gatve 214B, Riga;
- by post or courier to: SIA “TWRIGA”, Brīvības gatve 214B, Riga, LV-1039.
In the event of withdrawal, the costs of returning the Goods shall be borne by the Buyer.
Refunds will be made to the Buyer’s specified bank account within 14 days.
8. Dispute resolution
Any disputes arising in connection with the execution or interpretation of this distance contract shall be resolved through mutual negotiations. If no agreement is reached, the Buyer has the right to apply to competent state authorities.
9. Force majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, government orders, war, states of emergency, terrorist acts, environmental or climate anomalies, third-party failures or Internet disruptions.
